My father and I decide we were going to go what we call 'dinky dunkin.' Wich is just going to the holes that we know hold fish. We found a hole with a couple of nice browns. It was about 85 degrees and muggy. So therefore we knew the fish wernt going to be active. So we were just soaking worms. After about an hour my dad got a bite. He hooked and landed a beautiful 17 in. brown. We could still see one in there so we decided to stay and try to get him. It must of been another 30 minutes and i finally had a hit. I set the hook and we couldnt believe our eyes. I fought with him for about 10 minutes then finally landed him. He was a true river monster! |
